National Register of Historic Places The Federal government itself is the only entity restricted by this designation. There are no restrictions on private property owners. The major benefit is national recognition of the historical value and significance of the neighborhood. Let's stand proud in the face of City of Clayton "representatives" who raze and erase the primary reasons people want to live and visit the Hi-Pointe De Mun area.
